History

Since 2010, Sir Rashbehari Ghosh Mahavidyalaya's Department of History has offered B.A. Honours and General courses. The department is focused on providing students with a quality education in history, helping them understand the present and shape the future. It prioritizes students' overall development. The department creates an environment where co-curricular and extracurricular activities support academic success. Students are encouraged to engage in seminars, group discussions, and cultural events to enrich their learning outside the classroom. One of the department's main goals is to create a student-friendly environment that promotes learning through hands-on experiences and active participation. It aims to enhance students' analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in relation to the world around them.
