The Library of Sir Rashbehari Ghosh Mahavidyalaya is an integral part of the academic environment of the institution and serves as a centre of knowledge, learning, and intellectual development. It is committed to support the educational needs of students, teachers, and other members of the college community by providing access to a wide range of academic resources in a welcoming and learner-friendly environment.

Our Library is continuously expanding its collection of textbooks, reference books, magazines,  competitive examination materials, and other scholarly resources covering various disciplines taught at the college. Special emphasis is placed on developing and enriching the collection in accordance with the changing academic needs of students and the NEP 2020 curriculum. The Library strives to provide relevant, up-to-date, and quality resources to support teaching, learning, and the overall academic development of students and faculty.

Along with its print resources, the Library strives to promote the use of digital and electronic learning resources, enabling users to access contemporary academic information and scholarly materials. The Library also encourages students to develop regular reading habits, information-literacy skills, independent learning practices, and a culture of academic enquiry.

With its peaceful and conducive atmosphere, the Library provides an ideal space for reading, study, and consultation. It seeks to function not merely as a repository of books, but as a dynamic academic space that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning.
